Season Journey for Season 5 of Diablo 4

Note: Our suggestions on which are easiest to complete will be marked by an asterisk* for when you do not have to complete all of them.

Chapter 1

The Season Journey will help you through the game and reward you along the way. Each objective completed gives Favor to progress the Battle Pass. Get out there and slay some demons!

Rewards: First Journey Cache x2, First Journey Equipment Cache

Objectives (Must complete 9/11 to finish the chapter)

*Dubious Allegiance: Meet with Islet in Zarbinzet and Increase Mother’s Gift reputation to Rank 1
*Begone Devils – Defeat 100 Demons throughout Sanctuary
*Test of Mettle – Defeat 5 Elite Monsters
*Spoils of Hell – Open 1 Tortured Gift during a Helltide
*Risk and Reward – Buy 3 pieces of equipment from the Purveyor of Curiosities
Into the Breach – Complete a Hellbreach
*Trouble in the Wilds – Complete 3 World Events found on your map.
*Tiny Clarity – Upgrade your potion to Tiny
*Forager – Collect 50 bundled herbs
*Tanners Apprentice – Collect 50 Rawhide
*Prospector – Collect 50 Iron Chunks

Chapter 2

Continue your journey. Secure Strongholds to gain access to new Waypoints and Dungeons. Complete Cellars and Dungeons for resources, and gear to increase your power. Keep your Elixirs stocked and mind your Gems.

Chapter 3

Reach greater heights. Upgrade your gear, indulge in Curiosities, achieve mastery, stockpile survival tools, and fight the largest monsters in Sanctuary. From here, your journey becomes even more challenging.

Objectives (must 9/11 objectives to finish this chapter)

Chapter 4

Ready yourself and venture into the most dangerous place of all – the more hellish shadows of the world, places where Mephisto’s hatred has left lingering traces. Enter the nightmare.

*Against All Hatred – Increase Mother’s Gift Reputation to Rank 7
*Blessing of the Strong – Equip Sacred Legendary items in Every Slot
*Grim Claim – Obtain 20 Caches from Whispers
*The Depths of Fear – Use Nightmare Sigils to Empower Nightmare Dungeons and complete 5 of them
*Touching the Eternal – Unlock 25 Aspects in the Codex of Power
*A Deathless Heart – Defeat 10 Aether Fiends
*The Way Down – Acquire 5 Infernal Compasses
*Infernal Champion – Enhance 1 Infernal Compass with an Abyssal Scroll
*The Hordes Falter – Defeat the Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes
*Guilt – Defeat Echo of Varshan in WT3
Stem the Tide – Defeat 666 Monsters at Max Threat Level during Helltide

Slayer (Chapter 5)

You are now inarguably a paragon. Strengthen your glyphs through ventures into Nightmare Dungeons, continue to upgrade your Legendary Items, venture into places where Hell itself intrudes upon Sanctuary. You can handle it.

Objectives (complete 8/10 objectives to finish this chapter)

*Through Bile and Brimstone – Increase Mother’s Gift to Rank 12
*Heir to Transcendance – Equip Ancestral Legendary items in every slot
*Damnation’s Downfall – Defeat each of the 20 Helltide Commanders summoned after completing Helltide Events
*This is No Dream – Complete a Tier 21 Nightmare Dungeon
*Tempered by Hellfire – Reach Level 75
Echoes of the Ancients – Unlock 50 Aspects in the Codex of Power
Strip Their Souls – Defeat 30 Aether Fiends, Aether Lords, and Infernal Demons
Corruption Consumed – Collect 666 Burning Aether in WT4
*Excommunication – Defeat the Fell Council in a Tier 2 Infernal Hordes
*Vanquishing Hell’s Best – Defeat 100 Champion Monster in WT4

Champion (Chapter 6)

At this point, you know how to get stronger, and what challenges lie in store for you. Can you overcome them?

Rewards: Champion Cache, Champion Crafting Cache, Champion Equipment Cache, Champion Summoning Cache

Objectives (must complete 8/10 to finish this chapter)

*Holding Back the Hells – Increase Mother’s Gift reputation to Rank 17
*Forgiveness – Defeat Lord Zir in WT4, summoned in fractured peaks with Exquisite Blood from WT4 world bosses or legion events
*Harbinger of Ice – Defeat the Beast in the Ice in WT4, summoned with Distilled Fear from tier 30 or higher nightmare dungeons
*The Gathering Fires – Acquire 6,666 Cinders during Helltides in WT4
Collapsing the System – Defeat 10 Ladder Bosses in WT4
*The Brink of Madness – Complete a Tier 30 or higher Nightmare Dungeon
Death to the Wicked – Defeat the Fell Council in a Tier 3 Infernal Hordes
*Preamble – Complete Artificer’s Tier 1 or higher in the pit, located at the Artificer’s Obelisk in Cerrigar and activated with Runeshards
*Ancient Craft – Temper 20 Affixes onto Ancestral Gear
*Infernal Horde – Destroy 25 Aetheric Masses in WT4

Destroyer (Chapter 7)

Complete your Paragon journey. Defeat the most challenging foes. Fully immerse yourself in the ordeals you face.

Rewards: Destroyer Cache, Destroyer Crafting Cache, Destroyer Equipment Cache, Destroyer Summoning Cache

Objectives (you must earn 9/11 to finish this chapter)

*Become the Weapon – Increase Mother’s Gift Reputation to Rank 20
*The Bigger the Are – Defeat 10 World Bosses
*Avatar of Sanctuary’s Might – Equip 8 Ancestral Uniques at the Same time
*Annointed Immortal – Reach Level 100
*Glyphmaster – Improve 5 paragons to rank 15
*Blessed Mother Departed – Defeat Echo of Lilith on WT4
*Infernal Challenger – Enchance an Infernal Compass to Tier 8 With Abyssal Scrolls
May They Burn Forever – Defeat the Fell Council in a Tier 6 Infernal Hordes
*Unholy Coffers – Open a Greater Spoils of Hell Chest after defeating the Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes
Anguished Extinguished – Use Stygian Stones to Defeat the Tormented Echo of Andariel
*Horadric Smith – Masterwork gear to Rank 8
Eradicator – Use Stygian stones to defeat the Tormented Echo of Duriel
