Red Suit is a legendary shield in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Pangolin.
It is obtained from the mission Angels and Speed Demons located in Devil's Razor,on Pandora. It also has an increased chance to drop from Sylestro, located in Tazendeer Ruins on Nekrotafeyo.

Special Shield Effects[]
Warning. Containment failure.– Provides immunity to radiation damage. Constantly deals radiation damage to nearby enemies. Sometimes spawns with an amp effect. Greatly reduced capacity.
Usage & Description[]
The Red Suit is a niche item that provides the unique effect of being immune to radiation damage of all types. This includes radiation weapons, splash damage, and damage over time. The DoT effect can still occur, enabling the use of Elemental Projector artifacts to further increase radiation damage.
Despite its potential use in a radiation build, the Red Suit is marred by poor stats, mismatched effects, and functionality issues. This makes it largely unusable for anything outside of Normal mode or lower Mayhem levels.

- The Red Suit's radiation aura will still be present when the shield is depleted.
- Bonus elemental damage from anointments or skills such as Moze's Fire in the Skag Den will still damage the Red Suit.
- The Red Suit's ability can neutralize the self-damage from the Pestilence's weapon break effect, granting a massive damage boost with the radiation element while using the Elemental Projector class mod.
- Although the Red Suit grants invulnerability to radiation damage over time, shield regeneration will still be stopped while suffering from the effect.
