how to make a homeless role sim into a resident
- Write down the name of the sim (lastname first)
- MC - Household - Add Sim on the lot.
- from the upcoming filter dissmiss, hit X, so really all sims (including non residential ones) are shown.
- scroll to the right lastname and mark the sim - ok.

- Create the household in CAS.
- Move them into an empty lot from managed worlds.
- Immediately evict them from that lot.
Homeless sims when they aren't working don't really exist in the world. They disappear into a sort of void space where they can't be visited or interacted with. They all basically share one giant household, but it's not a physical place that you can visit.
How many people can live in one Sim house? ›
The default in MCCC is the game's default of 8. You can change that to anything under 25. To edit a household and have it keep more than 8, you have to click on a sim who is in the household you want to add more to. Click on MC Command Center / Modify Household in CAS.

@Bhroseph If you go to Manage Worlds within an ongoing save, you can create new sims, or download them from the Gallery, and place them in houses in your existing save without having to play them. Once they're placed, just click on the household you've been playing, and resume where you left off.

Homesless, unplayed Teen sims do not age up. Have a teen who is almost at an age to age up and have them homeless and not as a played family. Keep playing the game and you will see that the age up never triggers. This specifically happens with High School years installed.

At the top, in manage worlds, there's an icon with two people and a pen next to them, this is the "Manage Households" option - where it's possible to move Sims around from place to place. In the Manage Households menu, players will have to select the household of the Sim that they'd like to move.
How to switch control to a homeless Sim? ›
