I made this tonight but I added just a tad more Cayenne Pepper – it was so good! I served it over rice. My chicken only needed 3 hrs to cook on low .. I shredded it and let sit on warm for another hour so the shredded chicken could absorb the liquid. PERFECT!! Thank you for the recipe!

I am so glad you liked the recipe 🙂

Made this tonight. It was super good! My one suggestion would be to include an OZ size on the BBQ sauce. I used a large bottle, and I am pretty sure it was too much. We ended up with a lot of left over sauce. If you are eating this over rice or potatoes, this is a good thing. But on sandwiches, it is way too much sauce. But it did turn out excellent! This might become a staple in our house!

Wow…yum!! This turned out way better than I expected it to. It was difficult to stop eating! I used a brown sugar BBQ sauce which worked well. I used pineapple chunks which tasted delish right on the sandwich with the shredded chicken!

      yay!!! Glad you liked it

This was delicious! We had it over brown rice (and steamed cauliflower!) My boyfriend was just eating the sauce and rice too! Thank you for sharing this!!

What is even easier than this one is Target has a Hawaiian BBQ Sauce in their Market Pantry line, that and a can of pineapple chunks with the chicken in the crockpot and make the rice when it is done. It is sooo good!

I love to serve this on pretzel buns!
