Some of my clients really dislike color!
A black, white, and gray monochromatic color scheme opens a space up to the eye, and bounces light throughout the room.
This theme also has the cleanest look, with little distraction from the solid, contrasting elements.
How to Copy This Look
Make sure to add a balanced amount of black, white, and gray.
For the same “ratio” as the room above, aim for 75% white, 20% gray, and 5% solid black.
Keep your bedding and bed frame light gray or white, and add gray pillows, artwork, and a textured gray rug.
For black accents, find a chair or stool that is all black, and 2 duvet pillows with dark gray or black upholstery.

Art-filled walls are often misunderstood as being “too busy”, however when they are color-coordinated with the rest of the room, they can create a very calming space.

Paint one accent wall with chalkboard paint and go wild with creativity!
For the rest of the walls, paint them a similar gray tone, or keep them light for maximum daylight distribution.

What I like about this room is that half of the room is horizontally divided to create a different distribution of wall space.
This application works well for long walls and tall ceilings.

Measure and tape a line around your entire room.
You can also paint along carefully placed painter’s tape.
